GTools.pro — Zero-Knowledge M365 Cloud & Desktop Toolkit
Backup, audit, and migrate Microsoft 365 with zero-knowledge encryption. Cloud or desktop app for Mac and Windows — the server never sees your data.
Frequently asked questions
What is zero-knowledge Microsoft 365 tooling?
GTools.pro encrypts vault contents and credentials on your device with a key derived from your passphrase via Argon2id. The server only ever sees ciphertext, so it cannot read or hand over your Microsoft 365 secrets. On the Desktop edition, backup, export and migration data never leaves the operator machine at all.
Does GTools.pro store my Microsoft 365 data on its servers?
No. On Desktop, all backup, audit and migration data stays on the operator machine. On Cloud, only ciphertext is persisted; we cannot decrypt it without your passphrase. See gtools.pro/security-overview for the full data-flow.
Which Microsoft 365 workloads does GTools.pro cover?
Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams (including chat), Planner, Bookings, Entra ID, Intune, Conditional Access and Purview — across 49 tools spanning backup, configuration export, security audit and tenant-to-tenant migration.
Is there a free tier?
Yes. The Solo SKU is free for personal Microsoft 365 administrators. Paid SKUs start at EUR 7/month (Watchtower audit) and include Backup, Move (migration), Blueprint (config export) and Everything bundles. See gtools.pro/pricing.
How is GTools.pro different from Veeam, AvePoint or Datto?
Those vendors hold encryption keys by default and host customer data in their own cloud as a data processor. GTools.pro is zero-knowledge by default and the Desktop edition keeps data on your machine — no vendor cloud sits between you and Microsoft 365.
